Previous James Bond video games have surrounded 007 with prominent voice actors, but IO Interactive is taking things even further by building a new mythology from the ground up with 007 First Light.

This game is the start of a potential trilogy that unveils a new origin for Bond, with Patrick Gibson stepping into the famous role. As part of the State of Play for First Light, Gibson was officially confirmed while five other cast members were revealed.

One role that is currently unrevealed is the game’s nemesis, 009. This former MI6 agent is being hunted by Bond and his allies, but the extent of 009’s ambitions are unclear.

IO Interactive was more forthcoming about other aspects of the game, which we included in our recap of everything we learned about 007: First Light. The publisher also unveiled multiple editions of the game, which you can find in our First Light preorder guide.

007 First Light will hit PC, PlayStation 5, Switch 2, and Xbox Series X|S on March 27, 2026. You can find all of the currently announced cast members below.

Patrick Gibson as James Bond

Patrick Gibson is making his video game debut as the voice and likeness of James Bond in 007 First Light. In the absence of a 007 actor on the big screen, he’s the incumbent Bond for the moment.

Gibson recently had one of his biggest roles to date as young Dexter Morgan in Dexter: Original Sin. Prior to that, he had leading roles on Netflix’s Shadow and Bone and The OA. One of Gibson’s earliest acting credits was in Showtime’s The Tudors. On the big screen, Gibson has appeared in a handful of movies including the 2019 J.R.R. Tolkien biopic, Tolkien.

Kiera Lester is a relative newcomer to the entertainment industry, with only a handful of television credits to her name. She has appeared in Sister Boniface Mysteries, Wreck, Ruby Speaking, Grace, and Death in Paradise.

Lester’s role as Miss Moneypenny in 007 First Light will be one of her most prominent parts to date.

Alastair Mackenzie as Q

Veteran actor Alastair Mackenzie will voice Q, the man who creates all of Bond’s incredible gadgets. We don’t know yet how Mackenzie’s take on the character will differ from his on-screen predecessors. But unlike the last Q, Ben Whishaw, Mackenzie is considerably older than the actor playing Bond.

Andor fans may recognize Mackenzie from his role as Perrin Fertha, the husband on Mon Mothma. Some of his other credits include The Crown, Dracula, Unforgotten, Outlaw King, and Backdraft 2.

Noemie Nakai as Miss Roth
