Disney World is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the United States, and there have been a number of high-profile incidents at the park over the years, the newest of which was a daring, underwater heist–and the suspect remains on the loose.

Florida authorities said this week that a man stole as much as $20,000 at Paddlefish, a popular restaurant located on Disney property at nearby Disney Springs. Cops say the robber swam up to Paddlefish just after midnight on Monday, September 15–when it was closed–and entered the manager’s office.

Money was being counted at the time, authorities said, and the suspect instructed two staffers to close their eyes and stand in the corner. A source told WFTV 9 that the suspect tied them up, and then stole between $10,000 and $20,000. The employees informed police that the burgular left within 120 seconds, and that they called 911 after getting free of their bonds.

The Paddlefish is a restaurant and bar located on a replica steamboat that sits in a lake. Authorities said the suspect got back into the water and swam away in scuba gear–police searched the area and found nothing. As of September 17, the suspect apparently remains at large.

Beyond all of this, the suspect was said to have used spray paint to cover a security camera during the daring heist.
