Where to find all Crests in Hollow Knight: Silksong

Before we talk about all the Crest locations in the game, let’s discuss what these items actually do:

• Crests primarily change your basic attack and downward attack–i.e. pogo maneuver.
• Each one also has a set number of tool slots. These categories are color-coded–i.e. white (abilities), red (throwables/consumables), blue (wards), and yellow (devices/tools).
• Pick up materials known as Memory Lockets to unlock additional tool slots per Crest.
• Each new Crest that you acquire is automatically equipped. You can change your gear or swap Crests when resting on benches.

• Location: This Hollow Knight: Silksong Crest is available at the start of the campaign.
• Description: Stalk prey and attack with lethal strikes.
• Pogo action: Diagonal slash.
• Tool slots:
  • Available: 1x white, 1x red, 1x blue, and 1x yellow.
  • Unlockable: 1x red, 1x blue, and 1x yellow.

• Location: Greymoor – Keep going to the left of the Greymoor zone and enter the Chapel of the Reaper. The object that you need to interact with is at the topmost room in the chapel just after you clear the gauntlet section.
• Description: Attack with heavy, arcing slashes and reap additional Silk from enemies.
• Pogo action: Slow downward slash.
• Tool slots:
  • Available: 1x white, 1x red, 1x blue, and 1 yellow.
  • Unlockable: 1x red, 1x blue, and 1x yellow.

• Location: Wormways – Trying to get this Crest in Hollow Knight: Silksong can be a doozy, so here’s the gist:
  • The quickest route to Wormways is via the elevator in Mosshome/Bone Bottom. You do need to buy the Simple Key, which costs 500x Rosaries, from the vendor in the Bone Bottom settlement.
  • Float, dash, or pogo across the gap until you land on a ledge. The next room has an acid-spitting miniboss and, beyond that, there’s a small nook with a Mask Shard. The door here can also be unlocked with the Simple Key.
  • In Wormways proper, keep going to the left then down the shaft to the Bonegrave. Continue downward and enter the Chapel of the Wanderer to find your reward.
• Description: Cut swiftly and nimbly with short, precise strikes.
• Pogo action: Fast downward slash that’s reminiscent of the pogo maneuver in the original Hollow Knight game.
• Tool slots:
  • Available: 1x white, 1x red, and 2x yellow.
  • Unlockable: 2x blue and 1x yellow.

• Location: Hunter’s March – You must gain entry to the Hunter’s March region by beating a miniboss named Skarrgard:
  • Skarrgard can be found in the rightmost edge of The Marrow.
  • Eliminate him and keep going to the right until you meet up with Shakra the map vendor.
  • Pogo up the shaft and enter the Chapel of the Beast. There, you have to defeat the Savage Beastfly boss. Take it out and interact with the carcass to claim your reward.
• Description: Tear foes with savage slashes. Bind to enter a wild fury to steal life from prey.
• Pogo action: Diagonal rolling slash.
• Bind heal: Changes your healing spell into a temporary lifesteal effect.
• Tool slots:
  • Available: 1x white and 2x red.
  • Unlockable: 2x yellow.
