Nintendo’s August 2025 Indie World presentation has wrapped up, and Nintendo packed a lot of games into the short 15-minute runtime. And as usual, it included a handful of games that you can play immediately, either with a surprise release or a demo ahead of its full release. The games on offer run the gamut from action-adventures to puzzle and cozy games, so you’re sure to find something to strike your fancy among the selections.
This was the first Indie World presentation since the release of the Switch 2. And while backwards compatibility means that all of the Switch 1 games will run on the newer hardware, the presentation did specify that some of the games are only on Switch 2. That doesn’t apply to any of the surprise releases out today, though, so everything below is playable on either system.
