Apple Arcade’s August assortment

The next batch of games coming to Apple Arcade has been revealed, with four new and unique titles set to release on August 7. The August Apple Arcade lineup includes a new entry in the classic Worms franchise, as well as a creative sim featuring a world-famous children’s toy.

The foursome will join the 200+ games already available for Apple’s gaming subscription service, with recent additions including Angry Birds Bounce, What the Car, and Uno: Arcade Edition. Additionally, the collaboration between Fruit Ninja and popular children’s show Bluey will continue throughout the month, with four themed events centered around the Heeler family which add new ways to play the classic fruit slicing game.

Play-Doh World

Play-Doh World

Play-Doh World is a new creativity-led game featuring the world-famous sculpting toy. The game lets players create and design characters, animals, and more, all while using different colors of Play-Doh.

Worms Across Worlds

Worms Across Worlds

The classic turn-based action gameplay of Worms returns in Worms Across Worlds, which will see the titular Worms travel across different dimensions to defeat a mad scientist’s evil schemes. The game will offer solo and online multiplayer with up to four players.

Let’s Go Mightycat!

Let’s Go Mightycat!

Let’s Go Mightycat is a spin-off of The Battle Cats, a tower defense game that launched in 2012. This new puzzle-focused game will put players in the role of Mightycat as he tries to “bring every planet in the cosmos under the Cat Empire’s adorable yet mighty paw.”

Everybody Shogi

Everybody Shogi

The traditional Japanese board game Shogi is re-imagined for iOS devices in Everybody Shogi. Solo puzzle-style missions and daily challenges will teach new players the game, and online multiplayer matches will let them try their new skills against other players in real time.
