After two weeks of ratings reveals and back-and-forth debates on social media, it’s finally time to see the top 10 players in NBA 2K26. Like in years past, 2K revealed the top 100 players in the game, but it’s the top 10 that always interests the fan base the most. This year, we see plenty of similar names throughout the list, but there are certainly some questionable overall (OVR) ratings handed out. Below, you can see the entire top 10 list of players in 2K26.

Nikola Jokic – 98 OVR

For the third straight year, Nikola Jokic is the top-rated player in 2K. Jokic very easily could have won his third MVP in a row in 2024-25, and he’s even been bumped up to 98 OVR compared to his 97 OVR rating last year. Regardless of how you feel about the Joker’s play style, it’s difficult to argue that he’s not the best and most consistent player in the league.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander – 98 OVR

Sharing the top spot with Nikola Jokic is the reigning NBA MVP and NBA Finals MVP, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. SGA had a storybook year with the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2024-25, winning the Finals in dominant fashion and taking home nearly every award possible. This is a slight bump for Gilgeous-Alexander compared to last season, where he was a 96 OVR, and the 98 OVR has been well-earned.

Giannis Antetokounmpo – 97 OVR

Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo remains a 97 OVR in 2K26 after being given the same rating in 2K25. Giannis was Giannis this past season, and he continues to be a highly consistent player who’s always capable of scoring 30 and grabbing 10+boards. The Greek Freak has a new-look lineup in Milwaukee this season, but he remains the focal point of the team.

Luka Doncic – 95 OVR

After one of the most shocking trades in NBA history occurred, Luka Doncic somehow ended up on the Los Angeles Lakers less than one year after leading the Dallas Mavericks to the Finals. Doncic took some time to get used to his new team in LA, though, and his 2K rating has suffered because of a rocky second half last season. Luka has dropped from a 97 to a 95 OVR in 2K26, but he’s still the highest-rated player on the Lakers.

Anthony Edwards – 95 OVR

Anthony Edwards has finally made his debut on the top 10 players list in 2K. He’s been infamously left off the list for the past few seasons, which has led to some outrage in the Minnesota Timberwolves community. However, Ant Man has now cemented himself as one of the top 2K26 players, being given a sterling 95 OVR rating.

Stephen Curry – 95 OVR

It wouldn’t be a top 10 players list without Steph Curry. Curry has been rated in the top 10 for nearly a decade in 2K, and that’s likely not changing until he hangs up his shoes. Golden State’s golden boy has dropped by a single rating point from last year, though, coming in at a 95 OVR in 2K26.

LeBron James – 94 OVR

It also wouldn’t be a top 10 list without LeBron James. It’s probably easier to count the times LeBron hasn’t been a top 10-rated player in 2K at this point, as the Lakers star is approaching his 23rd NBA season. While LeBron remains one of the elite players in the league, a 94 OVR rating is the lowest for him in quite some time.

Jayson Tatum – 94 OVR

One of the most controversial players in the NBA comes in at the eighth spot on the list. Boston’s Jayson Tatum is quite the polarizing figure, especially on social media, as some fans think he’s not valued enough and others believe he’s not even one of the NBA’s superstar talents. Regardless of that debate, 2K clearly thinks Tatum is right up there with the NBA’s elite. After gracing the cover of 2K25 as a 95 OVR player, Tatum has dropped to a 94 OVR in 2K26.

Victor Wembanyama – 94 OVR

We have another first-timer on the top 10 list in San Antonio Spurs star and freak of nature, Victor Wembanyama. It was only a matter of time for Wemby to become a top 10 2K player, and he’s coming in at a 94 OVR in 2K26. The sky is the limit for Wemby, so we could very well see his rating go up by a few points this time next year.

Kevin Durant – 93 OVR

Rounding out the list is new Houston Rockets player Kevin Durant. Durant is another long-time member of the top 10 players list, but he has dropped a point from 2K25 after receiving a 93 OVR rating. While KD is getting older every season and certainly slowing down, he remains a lethal scoring threat anytime he touches the ball.
