Call of Duty Season 4 is live in Black Ops 6, bringing brand-new multiplayer maps, more game modes, and two new guns to unlock in the battle pass. Season 4 shakes up the weapon meta for multiplayer, so you’ll likely want to update your loadouts. Here we recommend the best weapon builds to try for your next match.

The Season 4 battle pass adds the new LC10 submachine gun and the FFAR1 assault rifle, and both are featured in our recommended weapon builds listed below. Other weapons will arrive later in the season, and here we highlight all of Season 4’s weapons and how to unlock them.

The AK-74 assault rifle was buffed in multiplayer for the launch of Season 4, with an improved damage range that makes this one of the best long-range options. The recommended attachments will boost the damage range, improve handling, and increase mobility.

Recommended AK-74 attachments:

• Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
• Barrel: Long Barrel
• Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
• Rear Grip: Commando Grip
• Fire Mod: Recoil Springs

The AK-74 becomes even more powerful if you use the Gunfighter Wildcard for extra attachments. For a Gunfighter build, you can also add an optic, the Extended Mag I magazine, and the Infiltrator stock.

Season 4’s new FFAR1 is also a great choice for multiplayer. This is an assault rifle with a very fast fire rate, but the recoil is manageable. The recommended attachments will help reduce the recoil, boost the ammo count, and improve the gun’s mobility.

• Muzzle: Compensator
• Underbarrel: Ranger Foregrip

The CR-56 AMAX assault rifle still hits like a truck in multiplayer. The Season 4 update did increase the recoil of this gun, though, so you’ll want to use the recommended attachments to help reduce some of the gun’s kick.

The CR-56 AMAX is another good choice for a Gunfighter build. You can add an optic, the Extended Mag I magazine, and Combat Stock to get even more out of this gun.

Another great choice for close-range fights is Season 3’s Ladra submachine gun. If you missed out on unlocking this weapon through Call of Duty’s High Art event, it will be available to unlock by selecting it as an Armory challenge. The recommended attachments will enhance the gun’s damage range and help mitigate recoil.

Season 4’s new LC10 submachine gun doesn’t feel quite as powerful as it does in Warzone, but this is still a great gun in multiplayer when using the right attachments. The recommended attachments will boost the LC10’s firepower, accuracy, and mobility. The magazine attachment is a matter of personal preference, as you can opt for either the Extended Mag I for extra ammo or the Flip Mag for quicker reload speeds.

If you haven’t unlocked the LC10 or Ladra yet, the C9 submachine gun is another solid choice for close-range combat. This is a versatile and easy-to-handle weapon. The recommended attachments will give you more recoil control, extended damage range, and additional ammo.
