Call of Duty’s next licensed DLC operators have been announced, and they are none other than Beavis and Butt-Head from the popular ’90s animated show created by Mike Judge.

The pair are being added to Black Ops 6 and Warzone as part of the upcoming Season 4 Reloaded update. Based on the current in-game countdown timer, Season 4 Reloaded should begin on June 26, but that doesn’t necessarily mean Beavis and Butt-Head will be available right at launch.

Based on the imagery below, Beavis and Butt-Head are strapping on military gear for their appearance in Call of Duty. However, there is no word yet on further specifics like voice lines, finishing moves, and other items that will presumably be included in the DLC bundle. Keep checking back with GameSpot for more.

The TV series Beavis and Butt-Head premiered in 1993 and ran for eight seasons. A movie, Beavis and Butt-Head Do America, came out in 1996. A movie sequel, Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe, came out in 2022, just ahead of the revival seasons for Paramount+ in 2022 and 2023. An 11th season is coming this year on Comedy Central, and this may be why the characters are being added to Call of Duty.

Another show created by Mike Judge, King of the Hill, returns for a new season this August. Hank Hill from that show was recently added to Fortnite. It’s a big year for Judge and video game crossovers. Judge created both shows and voices Hill, Beavis, and Butt-Head, among other characters.

As for the Call of Duty series, the next entry is Black Ops 7. This year’s release is notable in part because it’s the first time Activision is releasing Black Ops games in consecutive years.
