CoD: Warzone Patch Notes Detail Bug Fixes And Changes To Deadline LTM

A new update arrived to Call of Duty: Warzone on September 16. While this is a very small update, the patch notes include a few notable bug fixes and changes to Season 5’s Deadline limited-time mode.

Season 5 Reloaded added the new Deadline limited-time mode, and now the new update makes a few improvements to the match rules. Circles two, three, and four are now extended by 30 seconds each. The developer says this change was made to allow players “extra time to coordinate and rack up points,” while also slowing down the gas to provide players with more breathing room.

Deadline’s respawn timers are reduced by five seconds, which lets players jump back into the action faster. Additionally, the mode’s “Round End” warning will now show 60 seconds from the end instead of the original 30-second warning.

As for bug fixes, the patch notes reveal the update corrected an issue that previously prevented players from accessing their custom parachutes and contrails. It also fixed an exploit where players could infinitely use Self-Revives.

Previously, the .410 Gauge Ball ammunition was dealing more damage than intended when equipped with the Riveter shotgun, but the developer says this has been corrected with the new update.

Season 5 Reloaded was a small update for Warzone, and we don’t have any details yet for the next season. We likely won’t receive any new details on the future of Warzone until Activision’s annual Activision’s Call of Duty: Next event on September 30. Call of Duty: Next will include live gameplay and other new announcements for Black Ops 7 multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone.

The new Black Ops 7’s Zombies trailer confirmed the new and old cast of characters will be fighting alongside each other in Dark Aether, as they work to defeat a new threat and regain their souls.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 launches on November 14 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. The Black Ops 7 multiplayer beta early access begins on October 2 for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC platforms.

Modes

Deadline Limited-Time Mode

Extended circles 2, 3, and 4 by 30 seconds.
- This gives players extra time to coordinate and rack up points, while slowing down the gas to provide a bit more breathing room.
Reduced respawn timers by 5 seconds, letting players jump back into the action faster.
The “Round Ends” widget will now show 60 seconds from the end instead of 30.

Bug fixes

Fixed an issue preventing players from accessing custom Parachutes and Contrails.

Fixed an issue where the .410 Gauge Ball ammunition was dealing more damage than intended when used with the Riveter.

Fixed an exploit allowing players to infinitely use Self-Revives.

Fixed an issue where the “Redeploy All” button at the Buy Station would prioritize a disconnected teammate. It will now correctly prioritize connected teammates.
