The next batch of games for the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog have been revealed, and while the selection is smaller this month–following several surprise additions during Days of Play–there are some nice titles to choose from here when they’re made available starting June 17.
Leading the pack is FBC: Firebreak, as this is a day-one release set in the same universe as Remedy Entertainment’s Control. It’ll be joined by another Battlefield game, and for fans of retro titles, the remaster of Katamari Damacy is a must-play.
Beyond that, you can also pick up a JRPG with some Suikoden-like qualities, see if you’d be a better conductor than late comedian George Carlin, and explore a seemingly endless labyrinth. As a reminder, all PS Plus subscribers can also claim new games in June, as NBA 2K25, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, Destiny 2: The Final Shape, and Alone in the Dark are all available to download right now.
FBC: Firebreak (PS5)
One of the biggest releases of the month, Remedy Entertainment’s Control spin-off is looking to offer a live-service experience without having to rely on FOMO. As a member of Firebreak, it’s up to you to be the last line of defense against otherworldly forces assaulting the Federal Bureau of Control. Fortunately, you’ve got the gear needed to help solve a growing crisis in this three-player co-op shooter, and with some on-the-fly teamwork, you can halt the advance of a paranormal invasion. If you’re on Xbox, FBC: Firebreak will also be available through Game Pass.
Battlefield 2042 (PS5, PS4)
Not too long ago, EA’s Battlefield 1 was added to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog, and this month, you can shift from the trenches of World War I to the near-future warzones of Battlefield 2042. The game features some massive maps for all-out warfare, while modes like Conquest and Breakthrough will keep you on your toes.
Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2 (PS5)
Do you have what it takes to be a Fazbear Entertainment Superstar? That’s the role you’re assigned in this sequel, as you’ll have to juggle management and maintenance inside of the pizzeria. Just watch out for the animatronic mascots, as there’s something weird about them.
The Hunter: Call of the Wild (PS4)
The Hunter: Call of the Wild offers a diverse selection of environments to explore and a varied selection of weapons to use. You can hunt virtual versions of rabbits and bears: a task that requires tracking and luring them to your position.
We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie (PS5, PS4)
2005’s Katamari Damacy–the second title in the Katamari series–is still a wonderfully weird game to play, and this remaster does a fine job at bringing it up to speed for modern systems. Featuring redesigned graphics and a revamped in-game UI, you’ll need to roll up all the things on Earth to create a large Katamari, and everything is fair game here. The other part of this collection, Royal Reverie, puts you in the boots of the King of the Cosmos during his younger days, back when he was also tasked with creating a Katamari.
Eiyuden Chronicles: Hundred Heroes (PS5, PS4)
A spiritual successor to the Suikoden series, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes offers a classic JRPG experience with some neat modern touches. Set in the land of Allraan, two friends from different backgrounds find themselves united by war and set off to explore their magical world. You’ll be able to meet and recruit over 100 unique characters on your quest, and each one of them have and intricate backstories to delve into.
Train Sim World 5 (PS5, PS4)
An on-rails game in the best way, Train Sim World 5 is all about mastering tracks and old-school mass transit vehicles. The game has challenging new routes, as well as powerful locomotives to use on your trips.
Endless Dungeon (PS5, PS4)
An interesting combo of roguelite, tactical action, and tower-defense genres, Endless Dungeon is set on a space station that has been overrun by monsters. You’ll need to reach the core of the station and keep your fragile crystal bot in one piece if you want to escape, but with all manner of creatures looking to stop you, that’s easier said than done.
Deus Ex: The Conspiracy (PS5, PS4)
- For PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers only via the Classics library
A port of the original Deus Ex, this is the first time that this PS2 classic has ever been playable on PS5 and PS4. There are some minor changes from the PC version–and a few gameplay changes to make the transition to console easier–but overall, the first chapter in the Deus Ex saga is still worth downloading for a fascinating tale about society being on the brink of collapse in a dark future.
