Fortnite’s Chapter 6 Season 4: Shock ‘N Awesome arrives on August 7, and the brand-new season is themed around soldiers fighting alien bugs. Season 4 includes new map changes to fit the theme of this infestation, and there are also crossovers with Halo and the Power Rangers.

In this guide, we’ll reveal all the map locations for Chapter 6 Season 4: Shock ‘N Awesome. First, we’ll highlight the three new themed points-of-interest, and then we’ll also show you which parts of the Chapter 6 island are coming back.

For this bug infested season, the following three locations can be found on the island:

• The Hive
• O.X.R. HQ
• Ranger’s Ruin

The Hive is a new point of interest described as having high levels of bug activity. Stock up on ammo to best take out the swarm.

O.X.R. HQ is where the season’s bug-fighting soldiers are stationed. In addition to the soldiers’ barracks, there’s also an Armory location where you can buy weapons and other items with Bars.

Ranger’s Ruin is a new point of interest was once a weapons lab for the O.X.R., but the base was lost to the infestation.

In addition to these new bug-infested locations, several points-of-interest return from last season. Here are all of the returning POIs on the Chapter 6 map:

The Season 4 island is infested with bugs, and they’ve added goopy nests and egg sacs everywhere. You’ll also want to watch out for three bug types: Swarmers, Bombers, and Queens.

Just like the name suggests, the Swarmers come at you as an entire swarm of little bugs. You’ll want to take them out quickly so they don’t overwhelm you.

Bombers are tank-like guard bugs. They like to burrow and pop up behind you before shooting out globs of smelly goop.

Queens are massive slugs and taller than most buildings. They’ll surface after you’ve cleared out nests of bugs, then they’ll summon more giant bugs to try and body slam you.

Additionally, the Roly Poly arrives later this season as a new method of transportation around the island. This lets you get inside a bug-like ball to roll and bounce around the map, and there’s a charged open that allows for a burst of speed.
