The open world of Grounded 2 offers so many secrets to explore within Brookhollow Park, including a locked briefcase with some useful items. In this guide, we’ll show you how to get the codes and unlock the briefcase found in Grounded 2.
Where to find the briefcase
The briefcase is found on top of one of the Picnic Table benches, and this area is located just north of the Snackbar. You might’ve already found this locked case but didn’t have the means to open it.
Head to the Picnic Table
If you haven’t been here yet, you’ll want to head to the picnic table location, as shown in the image above. This area is easy to spot by the red-and-white-checkered tablecloth draped around the area. You can travel this area on foot, but I definitely recommend using a buggy to make the trip faster and a bit safer, especially since you’ll encounter a few spiders and other enemy types along the way. Bring snacks and bandages if needed.
Climb up the tablecloth
You’ll need to climb up to the top of the tablecloth, and then weave under another section of the tablecloth that makes a tunnel. This lets you climb up onto some candy boxes and onto a wooden pole, which you can then cross to reach the opposite side of the table with the least amount of conflict. You can traverse the spiderweb pathways that lead to the other side, but those are really slow to cross unless you already have the orb weaver buggy. Regardless of which path you choose, you can’t really miss the seemingly giant brown briefcase on the other side.
When facing the briefcase handle, there are two dials for a lock code. One is on the left side of the handle and the other is on the right side.
Where to find the briefcase codes
There are two locations with codes subtly marked for you to find on your adventures. We’ll show you how to find the codes for yourself, but technically you can just input the codes without doing the work.
The left side code is found on top of the picnic table, but you’ll need some items to help you navigate the cooler area and avoid freezing from the chill. You can use smoothies, eat spicy candy, or wear a few pieces of armor that protect against cold.
As shown in the image above, the code is found on the crossword puzzle located on top of the table. This is 137.
Second code is on the podium
The right side code is found on top of the tall podium just northeast of the Ceremony Ranger Outpost. You’ll want to navigate the interior shelves of the podium and work your way up, climbing all the junk to reach the very top. I also recommended having a few dandelion tufts.
Climb up each level of the podium
Near the top bit, you’ll crawl through a hole in the side of the podium and walk along the exterior edges. It’s very easy to fall here, and you’ll die from the damage unless you have a dandelion tuft to save you. There are also two O.R.C. butterflies here, so be prepared to fight them if you venture up here.
Podium code
As shown in the image above, the code is on a scrap of paper at the top of the podium. This is 514.
How to unlock the briefcase in Grounded 2
To unlock the briefcase with the two code pieces, simply walk up to the dials and interact with each one. You’ll be able to rotate the numbers on the dial until they match the code for each side.
The contents of the briefcase aren’t super exciting, but it does have some helpful items. You’ll get some Raw Science and a Milk Molar to collect.
