Are you curious about how to reach Bai Mansion in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers? This is an optional area that’s quite easy to miss. That’s because the game doesn’t really make it clear that you could actually head past a certain location. We’ve got all the details in our guide, but be forewarned that there are a few spoilers ahead.

How to reach Bai Mansion in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers – Zhenwu Altar, Ferry Overlook, and Bai Mansion guide

Bai Mansion is part of the Mt. Zhenwu region, which is basically the game’s third major zone. Before you can even get there, you must gain access to the pathway by defeating the main boss in Zhenwu Altar. In any case, the rest of our guide summarizes what you can expect from the next few areas.

The cave past Zhenwu Altar

After taking out the Zhenwu Altar boss, you can head down the road that leads to a cave. This path actually takes you to Bai Mansion in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, but there’s an important caveat. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Upon reaching this cave, a certain NPC will warn you about proceeding further. If you’re not ready or if you still want to gather some stuff in other locations, then do not accept this proposal.
  • Instead, just walk inside the cave and continue exploring.
  • Inside, you can find goodies like:
    • Material: Brilliant Red Feather
    • Spell: Heavenly Thunder – Call down lightning that strikes enemies and spreads outward.
    • Benediction: Ta – Swift Poise Break – Increases Poise Break buildup.
  • Make your way to the bottommost section of the cave where the exit is located.

The boat in Ferry Overlook

Upon exiting the cave, tag the Shrine to discover that you’re in an area known as the Ferry Overlook. Here’s what you can find in this zone:

  • Armor: Ceramic Jar – This item might be at the edge of the dock if you helped the Child in the Jar.
  • Pendant: Tiger Pendant – Increases the potency of your weapon’s physical attacks.
  • Invader NPC: Li Dingo – Drops the Serpent Fang weapon, Lustrous Red Feather, and a Letter quest item.

By far the most important fixture in this area is the boat, which is located at the far-right edge of the pier. If you interact with it, you can sail it all the way to Bai Mansion.

Now that you’ve arrived at Bai Mansion in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, it’s time to take a look at your surroundings:

  • Emote reward: There’s a Faces of the Past object that yields the Broken Belled Pinwheel as a reward if you use the “Examine” emote.
  • Spell: Demonbane Strike – Conjure a spear that stabs upward and deals feathering damage.
  • Material: Radiant Red Feather
  • NPC: A certain NPC will show up here and you’ll be able to chat with them.
  • Quest item: Imperial Guard Token – Read the letter next to the NPC.

At the very end is a rivulet, a large pond where you get to do battle against a ferocious foe. We don’t want to spoil who it is, but you better be ready for a difficult fight.
