Are you confused as to how you’d be able to reveal your completion progress in Hollow Knight: Silksong? Well, the feature itself actually requires a specific item known as the Farsight. However, it can only be obtained much later in the campaign. We’ve got all the details for you, but be forewarned that there are a few spoilers ahead.
How to reveal completion progress in Hollow Knight: Silksong – Farsight item guide
The Farsight item comes from The Abyss, which can only be accessed upon reaching Act 3 of the campaign. You can learn about all the details in our Silk and Soul quest guide. You must reach Mosshome to talk to the Snail Shamans as part of the main quest. From there, you’re directed to travel to the very depths of Pharloom.
Farsight location
To show your Hollow Knight: Silksong completion progress, proceed deeper into the Abyss until you have a chat with a certain NPC. You can see this in the image below as it’s the area with the bench at the bottom. Here’s what you need to do next:
- Go across the chasm by using various traversal abilities, including a lot of pogoing as you bounce off floating enemies and objects.
- At the very top of the chamber, hold the button prompt to play your Needolin. The cocoon door will open, allowing you to enter Weavenest Absolom.
- Jump across the gap and pick up the Farsight item.
- Note that you can also acquire the Silksoar super jump ability at the bottom of this very room.

How to unlock completion progress stats
Now that you have the Hollow Knight: Silksong Farsight item, you must survive the harrowing journey back to the surface. We don’t want to spoil what happens next, but it’s definitely one of the most frantic moments in the game.
Assuming you made it out alive, be sure to return to Bellhart. Enter your own bellhome at the top-left part of the main chamber. If you interact with the objects here, you’ll be able to select the Farsight to trigger a cutscene.

Once the cutscene has ended, take a look at your inventory and menus:
- Inventory – Shows your overall completion progress.
- Crest – Shows all the tools you’ve collected so far.
- Journal – Shows all the enemies you’ve encountered and the ones with completed notes.
That does it for our guide on how to show completion progress in Hollow Knight: Silksong. Given that you’re already going through the third chapter of the campaign, you might be interested in completing The Old Hearts main quest.
