The Switch 2 launched just a few weeks ago, but there are already dozens of Switch 2 accessories out there, including controllers, protective cases, travel bags, and more. While the official Nintendo-made accessories are some of the best, they’re also pretty expensive–luckily, they’re not your only options. Several third-party brands offer their own Switch 2 accessories, including a batch of new products from Hyperkin, many of which launched just this week.
Hyperkin has produced impressive accessories for multiple platforms over the years, and its Switch 2 accessory lineup is already stacked with everything from controllers and carrying cases to screen protectors and racing wheels–all of which are some of the highest-quality third-party alternatives. Best of all, most of Hyperkin’s Switch 2 accessories are more affordable than the first-party options and many of its third-party competitors.
If you’re interested in browsing all of Hyperkin’s Switch 2 accessories, we’ve rounded them all up in the list below. You’ll find full details on the company’s controllers, cases, and other gear, plus links to grab them online. You can also browse the full Hyperkin Switch 2 accessory lineup at Amazon.
Hyperkin Armor 3 NuChamp Pro Wireless Controller
$28
This Hyperkin Armor 3 NuChamp Pro Wireless Controller packs in a ton of pro-style features for just $28. Along with four remappable back buttons, it offers gyro support, wireless connectivity, a turbo function (which is great for Donkey Kong Bananza), and up to 10 hours of battery life.
It looks quite similar to Nintendo’s first-party Switch 2 Pro Controller–complete with the Nintendo-style B, A, X, Y button layout and inputs for the Home button–with a few standout differences like red and blue accents on the grips and thumbsticks and ergonomic rubberized grips. Keep in mind that this is still a $28 gamepad–don’t expect high-end materials or top-of-the-line features. But if you’re shopping on a budget, this one is certainly worth a closer look.
Hyperkin Armor 3 NuRival Pro Wireless Controller
$40
For a step up from the NuChamp Pro, there’s Hyperkin’s Armor 3 NuRival Pro Wireless Controller. Built with Hall Effect joysticks to prevent the dreaded stick drift, it’ll likely hold up a bit better over time than the $28 model above. It also comes with customizable RGB lighting elements.
Beyond that, many features are shared between the NuRival and NuChamp. This includes gyro support, four remappable back buttons, wireless connectivity, and a turbo function. The big selling point remains the Hall Effect sticks, so if you ever had drift issues on other controllers, this one might be worth the extra $12.
Hyperkin Bolt Sling Bag
$27 (was $30)
The Bolt Sling Bag is a travel case featuring a padded interior compartment built specifically for housing the Switch 2. There are also a few other zippered pockets for accessories. The bag is designed as a crossbody sling, with an adjustable strap that should allow you to find a comfortable fit.
Hyperkin EVA Hard Shell Carrying Case
$18
This is a more traditional carrying case, offering a slim footprint and durable hardshell construction. It’s both splash and shock-resistant, comes with a Velcro strap to keep your handheld in place, and interior pouches and sleeves for around 10 game carts and a few tiny accessories.
Hyperkin 4-in-1 Accessories Kit
$25
This accessory kit includes a carrying case, tempered glass screen protector, wired earbuds, and a microfiber cleaning cloth, all for just $25. A carrying case and screen protector are arguably two of the wisest investments you can make for your Switch 2, protecting it from drops and scratches. The microfiber cloth gives you an easy way to wipe dust off your handheld, and while the earbuds are likely low-quality, they’ll serve as a nice backup for private listening while in portable mode.
Hyperkin Switch 2 Travel Kit
$35
This Switch 2 Travel Kit bundles in a few more accessories than the 4-in-1 kit. Here’s a look at what you’ll get:
- EVA Carry Case
- Joy-Con 2 silicone covers
- USB-C charging cable
- Wired earbuds
- Thumb grips
- Tempered glass screen protector
- Cleaning cloth
That’s a nice assortment of protective accessories for $35, so check it out if you want to stock up on the essentials in a single purchase.
Hyperkin Protective Clear Case for Switch 2
$14
This unique transparent case comes in multiple pieces you combine into a full protective barrier for the Switch 2 while in portable mode. This includes plastic cases for the Joy-Con 2 with cutouts for all the buttons and inputs across the device.
Hyperkin Power Beacon Joy-Con 2 Charging Dock
$27
This Power Beacon holds and charges up to four Joy-Con 2 at once, making it easy to keep multiple sets of Joy-Con 2 controllers ready for your next gaming setting. Magnetic mounts ensure a smooth, secure connection, and RGB charging indicators let you know when the controllers are ready to go.
Hyperkin Pro Handle Grip Set (2-Pack)
$15
Playing with a single Joy-Con 2 isn’t the greatest. Its small footprint can make it difficult to get a solid grip, and if you often find yourself sharing your Joy-Con 2 with a friend, this Pro Handle Grip Set could be a good purchase. Providing you with more real estate for your hands, it should make it easier than ever to use a single Joy-Con for extended gaming sessions. The set includes two grips for just $15.
Hyperkin Racing Wheel Set (2-Pack)
$15
If you’re primarily splitting up your Joy-Con 2 for Mario Kart World, snag this Wheel Set instead of the Grip Set. The wheels are similar to the Pro Handle Grips above, but are designed specifically for gyro controls. They also feature built-in triggers that are easier to access than the standard Joy-Con 2’s tiny trigger buttons.
Hyperkin Pro Series Thumb Grips Pack
$10
This pack features four different styles of thumb grips that easily install over the Switch 2’s Joy-Con 2 and Pro Controller thumbsticks. So if you’re not a fan of the existing thumbstick design on your Joy-Con, this gives you four new options to choose from. The pack includes four pairs of thumb grips–for eight grips total. All the grips use soft, anti-slip materials, and come in one of four styles, including tall concave, short concave, tall convex, and short convex.
