Thanks in part to that Netflix show about drivers with an urge to survive, Formula One’s popularity has gone through the roof over the last couple of years. Lego recognized this and partnered with F1 to produce realistic model kits and fun playsets for younger fans. The Lego F1 lineup has grown exponentially over the past year, but the Lego Technic McLaren remains one of the coolest kits in the collection. Released back in 2022, the 1,432-piece build is likely on the verge of retirement, and there’s never been a better time to pick it up. You can score a massive discount during this week’s Walmart Deals event, which is competing with Amazon Prime Day.

Normally $200, the Lego Technic McLaren Formula 1 Race Car is on sale for only $125. In terms of dollar amount, the $75 price reduction is the steepest cut we’ve seen in Walmart’s impressive Lego sale.

This is a Technic set, so the build is a little bit more advanced than your typical Lego kit. Thanks to Lego’s partnership with McLaren, this replica has several authentic details to admire once you’re done. This model features a V6 cylinder engine with moving pistons, steering, suspension and differential, authentic colors, and even sponsor logos. Do a good job building it, and you can award yourself the Constructor’s Championship for all your hard work!

Walmart’s sale includes a few other Technic deals, including a 40% discount on the Lego Technic Batcycle based on its appearance in 2022’s The Batman. The 641-piece Batcycle was officially retired by Lego last November, but Walmart has it in stock for only $30 (was $50). It’s one of two awesome deals on Batman Lego sets at Walmart.

For another deal on real-life vehicle, check out the 1,466-piece 2022 Ford GT scale model for $96 (was $120). In Target’s Circle Week Lego sale, you’ll find the Lego Technic Bugatti Bolide for $25.59, which is practically 50% off its $50 list price. The Bugatti Bolide is a 905-piece set, so you’re getting a fairly elaborate build for cheap.
