Mudang: Two Hearts, developed and published by EVR Studio, is coming to Xbox Series X|S and PC in 2026, as announced at the Xbox Games Showcase. Based on a webtoon titled Moodang, Mudang is set in a unified Korea sometime in the near future.

EVR Studio refers to Mudang: Two Hearts as “an immersive blend of tactical stealth, visceral combat, and cinematic storytelling set on a politically volatile Korean peninsula,” on its official website.

The narrative follows the unification of North and South Korea as a treaty promises to end decades of division. Things aren’t as they seem, though. A terrorist organization attacks the South Korean National Assembly on the day the bill was meant to pass, setting off a series of chaotic events across the peninsula.

The plot follows main characters Ji Jeong Tae–a North Korean soldier who comes to South Korea as part of a military exchange program–Gavi, a member of a K-Pop group named ORDO, and a terrorist who is known as ID: Ghost. Players will switch between the perspectives of Ji Jeong Tae and Gavi throughout the narrative.

EVR Studio is a Korean game developer that was founded in 2016. Mudang: Two Hearts, previously referred to as Project TH, is its first project. Mudang: Two Hearts is being built with a state-of-the-art performance-capture pipeline and will include fluid motion-matched animations, open-ended level design, dynamic spatial audio, and intelligent AI, according to the developer.
