MLB The Show 25 is discounted to its lowest price yet for all three console platforms at multiple major retailers. PS5 owners can get Sony San Diego Studio’s annual baseball sim for only $39 (was $70), and Xbox Series X players can snag a copy for $40. The Nintendo Switch version, meanwhile, is on sale for 50% off. Amazon is estimating longer wait times for delivery than other retailers, so you may want to grab your copy from Walmart, Best Buy, or Target.
MLB The Show 25 released in March, so the current $30 discounts are unsurprisingly the largest yet for each platform. These deals are likely being offered in celebration of Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game, which capped off MLB All-Star Weekend last night (July 15).

MLB The Show 25 for Switch 1/2
$29.83 (was $60)
With the 50% discount, the Nintendo Switch version is down to only $29.83 (was $60).
The Switch port is not anywhere close to the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions from a graphical perspective, and it has performance issues on original hardware. It’s hard to recommend this version to Nintendo players–unless you have a Switch 2. The Show 25 doesn’t have a dedicated Switch 2 edition, but it is markedly improved on Nintendo’s new hardware.
On the original Switch, The Show 25 suffers from frequent slowdown and long load times. These issues are largely cleaned up thanks to the Switch 2’s more powerful processor and graphics chip. You won’t notice any graphical improvements in The Show 25 when jumping from Switch to Switch 2, but the immensely smoother gameplay experience makes a big difference.
The Switch version of The Show offers almost all of the same game modes and features as the PS5 and Series X editions. The only thing that’s missing from the Nintendo version is the custom stadium creator.
