Netflix Games has had a tough year, facing executive changes, project cancellations, and the removal of numerous games from its mobile and TV libraries. Over 20 games are set to leave in July 2025, including all three Monument Valley games, Carmen Sandiego, and Hades.

Several planned releases, such as Crashlands 2, Tales of the Shire, and Don’t Starve Together, have also been canceled for the platform. Additionally, unannounced projects were quietly scrapped, along with Netflix Stories, which had plans down the line for various Netflix IP.

Many removals involve branded titles outside Netflix’s control, with several being relatively new releases. For example, Carmen Sandiego was released this past January, and Monument Valley 3, despite getting a significant marketing push, is now scheduled for release elsewhere.
