The third volume in Udon Entertainment’s official Elden Ring art book series is launching on November 4, and this new entry is all about the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. Shadow of the Erdtree added multiple massive new open world locations, dungeons, and dozens of bosses to the already enormous action RPG–enough content that it could have easily been its own standalone game–so it’s no surprise that the expansion is getting its own dedicated art book.
If you’re looking to add it to your collection, you can preorder Elden Ring: Official Art Book Volume III at Amazon now. Preorders are even slightly discounted to just $55.79, saving you a few dollars off its $60 launch price. And thanks to Amazon’s preorder price guarantee, if that drops any further, you’ll only pay the lowest price once your order ships.
We’ve detailed the new art book below, and included information about the previous two volumes as well in case you’re curious about the full series. Unfortunately, Volume I is currently sold out, but Volume II is still available at Amazon and is even discounted to just $42.73 (was $60) at the time of writing.

This 320-page hardcover art book is a fitting size given how much content Shadow of the Erdtree added to Elden Ring. The book compiles hundreds of pieces of concept art and illustrations of the expansion’s numerous new locations from the Realm of Shadow, as well as the various bosses, creatures, characters, weapons, and armor sets that players encounter there. Along with the art, the book also features newly translated development commentary and lore.

The previous two books in the Elden Ring: Official Art Book series focus on different aspects of From Software’s giant dark fantasy epic. The first volume is the biggest of the three, clocking in at 432 pages, and includes art and behind-the-scenes information on the game’s sprawling open world zone and dungeons.
Unfortunately, Volume I is currently out of stock, but we expect a new printing could drop in the future given how popular the book is. The book has already been reprinted on multiple occasions since its 2023 release, so keep an eye on the Amazon store page to see if it’s back in stock.

Elden Ring Official Strategy Guides

The Elden Ring: Official Art Book Volume III isn’t the only new Elden Ring guide book launching later this year. The official companion guide for the recently released Elden Ring spin-off, Elden Ring Nightreign, is set to launch on September 30 and preorders are available now for $45 at Amazon. The Elden Ring Nightreign Official Companion Guide follows up on the previous three-volume Elden Ring: Books of Knowledge strategy guide series from Future Press. Like the Nightreign strategy guide, the Books of Knowledge feature a hundreds of pages with gameplay tips, lore, and artwork, and each one focuses on a different aspect of the gamethe 512-page Volume 1 is all about the various locations; Volume 2 includes 528 pages on the combat system, enemies, spells, and equipment sets; and Volume 3 is a 416-page guide to Shadow of the Erdtree. All three volumes are currently in stock and available at Amazon–but it’s worth grabbing these soon, as the first two volumes were sold out for over a year before Amazon restocked them in June.
Elden Ring: The Road to the Erdtree Manga

As if there wasn’t already enough new Elden Ring reading material launching soon, the next volume of the official Elden Ring manga, The Road to the Erdtree, launches on October 28. You can preorder Volume 7 for $13 at Amazon. Volume 6 also just launched on July 22, and you can pick it up along with the rest of the other volumes so far at the links below.
While Elden Ring: The Road to the Erdtree captures to look of Elden Ring in its artstyle and features many of the memorable locations, monsters, and characters seen in the game, it’s worth noting that it is a very different take on the source material. Instead of a grim and serious tale set in The Lands Between, The Road to Erdtree is a comedic adventure–though despite that shift in tone, it has been well-received by fans thanks to its strong writing. Check it out if you want to experience Elden Ring in a new way.
