The Nintendo Switch 2 made video game history as the fastest-selling home console of all time in four days after its release, and now we have a better idea just what games folks are playing on it. The console’s library is full of Nintendo’s usual suspects of heavy-hitters, with these 15 titles currently listed under the “Best Sellers” tab on the eShop.
However, it’s important to note two things: Firstly, the eShop says these are the top-selling games over the last three days, based on revenue–meaning it’s not based on number of copies sold, nor what sold best over the console’s first month. It’s just an updated look at what’s selling well over the last few days.
The other thing to keep in mind with the Switch 2 versions of Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild, are listed separately from the full versions of the games. They are also available to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers, so it’s uncertain if downloads through the subscription count towards these eShop rankings.
As of Thursday, July 3, Mario Kart World tops the list–an unsurprising achievement considering it’s Nintendo’s only original first-party title at launch, and how many players can live out their fantasies of being a driving cow.
