Final Fantasy XVI
$25 (was $40)
Unlike several Final Fantasy games that have used turn-based combat, Final Fantasy 16 offers a more action-packed approach as you cycle between weapons and magic to take down enemies. The game also features a dark story revolving around legacy, slavery, and gods from beyond the stars, all brought to life by a cast of actors like Ben Starr and Ralph Ineson. Note that this standard edition only includes the base game; two paid DLC expansions, Echoes of the Fallen and The Rising Tide, are also available as separate purchases.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade
$30 (was $40)
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is a grand reimagining of the classic PS1 game, and this first chapter in the trilogy covers the Midgar saga of the game. It’s an impressive game that really shines on PS5, and the Intergrade version also includes the expansion that stars Wutai’s favorite Materia hunter, Yuffie, in her adventure that links to the main campaign.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
$40 (was $70)
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the middle chapter in the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy, is also on sale. This originally launched for $70, and while it has gone on sale in the past, $40 for this game makes for a very tempting purchase.
Even if you’re unfamiliar with Final Fantasy VII, it still offers a ton of content to enjoy as you explore new locations, and longtime fans of the series will appreciate all the nods to the source material. It also features its own twist on traditional Final Fantasy gameplay, blending traditional turn-based combat with reactive action. This is also the Amazon exclusive edition, which comes with a controller skin featuring Cloud and Sephiroth.
Final Fantasy I-VI Collection Anniversary Edition
$45 (was $75)
If you want to go right back to the origins of the franchise, you can also check out 2D pixel art remakes of the original six Final Fantasy games that appeared on NES and SNES consoles with the Final Fantasy I-VI Collection Anniversary Edition available on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation. Each of the remastered titles features updated 2D pixel graphics and rearranged soundtracks, overseen by the original composer, Nobuo Uematsu. There are also several quality-of-life updates for each game, including a modernized user interface, auto-battle options, and more, alongside neat extras such as in-game bestiaries, illustration galleries, and a music player. The collection is on sale for $45 (was $75).
These Final Fantasy game discounts will only be available until the end of Amazon’s Prime Day sale on July 11. There are also plenty of other video game discounts to check out, including price cuts for WWE 2K25, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, and more–not to mention deals on hundreds of electronics, Blu-rays, collectibles, and other categories.
