Saber Interactive has been hard at work on a wide portfolio of games, including the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake and John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando. The firm isn’t done teasing new projects, however, as its official social media channels are now teasing a mysterious, potentially horror-themed announcement for July 22 via the aptly named website july-22-2025.com.

The website currently displays a black screen with the text “PM 1:00 UTC Jul. 22, 2025” with camcorder-style static occasionally appearing around it. Every so often, an image of a brick wall with the number 55 painted on it will appear in a flash and then disappear, which could be a hint as to what Saber has planned.

A post on the official Saber BlueSky account has offered another tease, this time in the form of a 30-second video. The video depicts a retro-style television on a table in an empty room, with candles on the floor surrounding the table. Intermittent shouts and screams can be heard as the TV’s glow reflects off of a nearby wall, but nothing else is shown on-screen.

None of the projects currently known to be in development at Saber fit the spooky vibes of what’s being teased. Other than the previously mentioned KOTOR and Toxic Commando, Jurassic Park Survival was announced back in 2023, while an as-yet-unnamed RPG set in the Paramount’s Avatar: The Last Airbender universe was announced last year. A third Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine game is also in the works.

We’ll know more when the time on the teaser site arrives; 1 PM UTC translates to 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET on July 22.
