Director Zack Snyder kicked off a new era of feature film adaptations of DC Comics characters, and if you’d like to revisit the best parts of that initiative, you can pick up Zack Snyder’s Justice League Trilogy on 4K Blu-ray for just $30 (was $80) for a limited time. The 4K Blu-ray collection includes Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Zack Snyder’s Justice League. This deal is part of Amazon’s Prime Day 2025 sale, which runs until July 11.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League Trilogy

$30 (was $80)

Snyder’s take on characters like Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman was an interesting one, as he imagined them as modern-day gods throughout his films. Man of Steel introduced a Superman who felt alienated from humanity, and was played on the big screen by Henry Cavill. That 2013 film is a fascinating reboot packed with action, and as you’d expect from Snyder given that he had previously directed an adaptation of the anti-superhero movie Watchmen, it was incredibly stylish as well. A few years later, Superman would clash with the Dark Knight in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice–it’s worth noting that this is the superior extended cut of the film–which was also established the foundation for the Justice League movie that would follow.

But due to personal tragedy, Snyder would bow out of work on Justice League during the middle of its production, leaving Avengers director Joss Whedon to take over. For years, rumors of a “Snyder Cut” did the rounds, and eventually, Warner Bros. saw the fan demand for it and gave Snyder the opportunity to finish his version of the film that he had started all those years ago. Zack Snyder’s Justice League was the end result, and while it is polarizing, it’s still impressive to see that it was made and it fits into his unique vision for the franchise.

There isn’t too much here in the way of extras on the 4K discs, but the regular Blu-rays do contain a nice mix of behind-the-scenes content and director’s commentary.

Several other Batman and Superman Blu-rays are also on sale for Prime Day. When it comes to style and substance with an edgy atmosphere, Tim Burton’s 1989 Batman movie is pretty hard to beat, but the 2022 film directed by Matt Reeves is also great thanks to the grounded approach it takes to the Caped Crusader. For something completely different, you can also check out the entire 1966 live-action Batman TV series starring Adam West on Blu-ray, which is getting a rare discount to just $30 (was $80). As for Superman, you can grab the first film in the franchise starring Christopher Reeve, Superman: The Movie (1978), on Blu-ray for just $15 (was $34) or Superman: The Complete Animated Series for $20 (was $70). Check the lists below for a round-up of even more Batman and Superman Blu-rays on sale for Prime Day.
