We’re just a few weeks away from the release of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4. The highly anticipated remake of these classic skateboarding games arrives on July 11 for both generations of PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo consoles as well as PC. Along with significantly overhauled graphics and enhanced gameplay mechanics, the collection has new and returning levels, skaters, and licensed tracks. Three different editions of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 are up for preorder for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, and PC. It will also be available on Game Pass at launch.
The standard edition costs $50, but if you make the jump to the $70 Digital Deluxe or $130 Collector’s Edition, you’ll get additional in-game content and early access starting July 8. For skateboarding enthusiasts, the Collector’s Edition looks pretty cool, as it also comes bundled with a Birdhouse skateboard deck.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Preorder Bonuses
If you preorder Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4, you’ll get the Wireframe Tony Shader to use in-game. Preorders for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC also include access to the Foundry demo, which became available to download on June 8. Game Pass subscribers can access the demo now, too.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Standard Edition
$50 | Releases July 11
Physical copies of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 can be preordered at Amazon, Walmart, Target, and Best Buy. The Xbox edition grants access to the Xbox Series X and Xbox One versions of the collection via Smart Delivery.
Activision is releasing separate physical editions for PS5 and PS4. The PS4 version can be upgraded to PS5, though it’s unclear how much the upgrade will cost since the digital version is the same price for both platforms.
Nintendo players can choose between Switch or Switch 2 editions. The Switch version comes with a game card but requires a download; the Switch 2 version is a download code inside a box. At this time, it doesn’t appear that there is an upgrade path from Switch to Switch 2. The standard edition costs $50 regardless of which Switch console you’re buying it for.
If you buy the digital edition for PlayStation, you’ll gain access to PS5 and PS4 versions of the collection. Meanwhile, buying a digital copy from the Xbox Store unlocks the game on Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (via Windows Store). The Nintendo Switch digital edition will work on Switch 2, but it’s not listed as “cross-gen” like the other platforms.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Collector’s Edition
$130 | Releases July 8
This physical Collector’s Edition has everything from the Digital Deluxe edition–including the three-day early access–plus a limited edition, full-size Birdhouse skate deck. Birdhouse is Tony Hawk’s official skateboard brand, making this a cool collectible item for fans.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Collector’s Edition preorders are available for PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X at Amazon, Walmart, Target, and Best Buy.
The Collector’s Edition is not available for PlayStation 4 or Nintendo Switch 2. And since Activision hasn’t announced an upgrade path for Switch to Switch 2, it’s possible that Switch 2 owners would be limited to the regular Switch version if they want the Collector’s Edition.
